The Director:
Dr. Cameron Coates is currently an engineering studies professor at Armstrong Atlantic State University,
Savannah GA. He is an avid soccer fan and has over 28 years of soccer experience. He represented a
division one team in his home country of Jamaica as well as a US Naval Academy invitational team and
several advanced recreation teams in Atlanta and Savannah. He has coached U-8, U-10, U-12 and U-19
recreation teams and was also a volunteer coach with Soccer in the Streets in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Coates
still plays soccer and approaches the teaching and learning of soccer analytically
while simultaneously emphasizing creativity and the development of intuitive soccer play.
Coaches:
Coaches are a select group of collegiate level players or higher
who have 15 or more years of soccer experience, most have
experience playing soccer at a high level in other countries as well.
There will be 10-12 players per coach.
